This website, winnipegmortgages.co, is operated by Poupe Vongkhamchanh, Mortgage Agent with CENTUM Financial Services LP (AFC). In this policy, “we,” “us” and “our” refer to Poupe and the brokerage. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, email, phone number, estimated home price, mortgage goal, preferred call time and any message you send through our forms, by phone or by email.
  • Information for a mortgage application: if you decide to apply, we collect what lenders require, such as employment and income details, assets and debts, identification, and property details. We’ll ask for your consent before a credit check.
  • Website usage information: like most websites, we use analytics tools, including Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit) and Searchable Analytics, which may use cookies or similar technologies to collect pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location and referring website.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and book calls you request.
  • To assess your mortgage options and, with your consent, submit applications to lenders and mortgage insurers.
  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including identity verification and record keeping.
  • To understand how our website is used and improve it.

We don’t sell your personal information.

When we share it

We share personal information only as needed to provide our services or as required by law, for example with lenders you choose to apply to, mortgage default insurers (such as CMHC, Sagen or Canada Guaranty), credit bureaus, appraisers, lawyers, our brokerage and its compliance team, and service providers who host our website and email.
